About Ponko

Ponko (playponko.com) is a quiz tool for live games and self-paced quizzes, made by the Ponko team. We want to give everyone a great quiz experience — in a classroom, at work or at an event — and we keep adding to it.

What Ponko does

• Create a quiz in seconds. Describe a topic and Ponko drafts the questions with AI. You review them and change anything before you play.
• Or bring your own. Write a quiz question by question, or paste one from a Kahoot-format spreadsheet or a Quizlet export.
• Play live, together. Put the game on a big screen; players join from any phone or computer with a code or a QR code. Nothing to install, and players need no account.
• Or each at their own pace. Send a quiz as a link: everyone plays it alone before a deadline you set, with one try each — for homework, a check after a training or a challenge between friends.
• Room for everyone. Up to 190 players in one game, with a team mode for groups that share a score.
• Five question types — multiple choice, true/false, poll, typed answer and ranking — in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Arabic.

What it costs

Hosting and playing a quiz on Ponko are free.
